Reducing Reading Time for Brain Metastasis with Jazz
Overview
Radiological evaluations and follow-ups of brain metastasis is tedious and time consuming. Recent therapy breakthroughs have led to improved patient survival, with patients undergoing typically multiple stereotactic radiotherapy or radiosurgical treatment schemes, which further increase the complexity of the follow-ups. Further, recent publications have shown that volumetric assessment can identify recurrence months earlier than RANO criteria. AI Medical developed JAZZ, a FDA-cleared and CE-marked cockpit solution that effortlessly tracks lesion volumes and treatments over time. In this clinical study supported by the Swiss Innovation Agency Innosuisse at the University Hospital Zürich, between September and November 2025 in 134 consecutive patients, reading time was reduced by 98% in patients with no metastasis, and by 93% in patients with at least one metastasis.
